Mithrify is a local-first memory product for AI work. It is designed to help users preserve, organize, search, and reuse AI conversations and related knowledge while keeping ownership and control central to the product experience.

This Policy applies to Mithrify’s website, waitlist, early access programs, desktop software, product features, communications, and related services. Some features may operate locally on your device, while other current or future optional features may involve hosted services, third-party providers, account systems, sync, cloud processing, or analytics.

You retain ownership of your content.

In local-first workflows, this content may remain on your device unless you choose to use features that involve upload, sync, sharing, backup, hosted AI processing, cloud storage, collaboration, or account-based services.

Mithrify is designed around local-first storage. This means that supported content can be stored on your own device and remain under your control.

Local files are generally controlled by you. You are responsible for managing, protecting, exporting, deleting, and backing up local files stored on your device.

If optional cloud, sync, hosted AI, backup, or collaboration features are introduced or enabled, those features may process or store relevant data outside your device. We will use reasonable efforts to make those flows clear in the product or related documentation.

When you visit our website or use online features, we may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:

We do not claim AI outputs are always accurate. You should review AI-generated content before relying on it.

If Mithrify offers paid plans, subscriptions, or purchases, payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. Mithrify does not need to store full payment card details directly if payment processing is handled by a payment provider.

Payment providers may collect and process billing information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide support
• improve the product
• comply with legal obligations
• resolve disputes

Local content stored on your device is controlled by you. Deleting local files from your device may remove them from Mithrify’s local workflows, but it may not remove information already processed through optional hosted services, backups, logs, analytics, or third-party providers.

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information.

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction will never occur.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own devices, accounts, passwords, local files, backups, and access credentials.

You may have choices depending on how you use Mithrify and where you live.

You may be able to:

• unsubscribe from marketing emails
• control cookies through your browser settings
• stop using Mithrify
• delete local files from your device
• request access to certain personal information
• request correction of certain personal information
• request deletion of certain personal information
• request export of certain personal information

Mithrify is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Mithrify, Inc. is based in the United States. If you access Mithrify from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

If Mithrify, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, so Mithrify may not respond to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised date.

Your continued use of Mithrify after an updated Policy is posted means the updated Policy applies going forward.
